
Yoga Class

There is a weekly
drop-in yoga class for beginners through advanced on Saturday mornings from
10:00 - 11:00 a.m. by donation. You can even get a charitable income tax
receipt. If you have a yoga mat please bring it, although we always have
extra mats on hand.

Your certified Ashtanga Yoga Instructor is John
Flaxman. He taught
martial arts for 25 years before choosing the gentler approach
of yoga. He creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere for participants from
children through seniors. John has a relaxed style with very positive,
clear and easy to follow instructions, and can readily adapt all postures to the
health and mobility of the participants.

Enter through the glass doors on the parking lot side of the church,
go downstairs and yoga is in the first room. What to Wear & Bring:
Loose fitted clothing, a towel and water bottle.
