Well Being

Due to Covid-19 we are currently not offering our Well Being Programming but hope to begin as soon as we are able.
However, our Outdoor Labyrinth, which is located at the back of the church parking lot, is always available and All Are Welcome to walk its path and experience its peace.

Our Well Being programs.

Reiki – a natural, Spirit-filled, holistic approach to healing.  Receive Reiki by donation September to June on Monday and Tuesday afternoons at 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. and Tuesday evenings at 7:30 and 8:15 p.m. by appointment .  During July and August Reiki offered once a week on Tuesday afternoon or evening.  We also offer weekend training to learn how to heal yourself and others.

Christian Meditation – a way to enrich one’s spirit and learn to live as fully as possible in the presence of God. Held Tuesday mornings at 10:00 a.m.

Integral Healing – is a method of clearing blocks in the energy system.  There are four distinct kinds of energy: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.  Blocks occur when any of these energies are used for the wrong purpose and when we have unfinished actions and emotions.  This method realigns the energies to restore a more harmonious flow that enables self-healing.  Every Friday at 1:30 and 3:00 p.m.

Labyrinth. St. James features an outdoor labyrinth on its property.  By following the path laid out by the labyrinth one quiets the mind.  When quieted we become open and receptive to God’s communication with us through images, feelings, insights, and intuitions.  Our labyrinth has been featured in the Toronto Star article, “Winding Paths Can Lead to Wellness” by Janice Mawhinney

Prayer – There is a Prayer Corner in the sanctuary as a safe and sacred place to offer a prayer, receive a blessing and make a request. Prayer can be made through the church office and the name of the person for whom we are praying must give their permission, we will then pray for them weekly.
