St. James’ Library
St. James’ library, situated in the main floor lounge, has approximately 1000 books available to borrow. Subjects range from devotionals and Christian living to social justice and personal development, as well as biographies and fiction.
There is a good selection of children’s books, including prayer and poetry, bibles, pictures books and easy-to-read materials based on favourite Old and New Testament stories or Christian values.
Selected books and videotapes dealing with wellness and the mind/body connection are in the Well-Being Place waiting room.
Audio cassette tapes of Sunday worship services are also available.
A library cart features new books and seasonal selections and holds the sign out book used to borrow material. This cart resides in the lounge most of the week, but is in Fellowship Hall for our hospitality time on Sunday morning.>
Donations of books that nurture spirituality or deal with Christian viewpoints are most welcome. It is very much appreciated if the books are 1990 or more recent. We also welcome your suggestions of books you would recommend.
Readers of all ages are welcome in the St. James’ library!
