Friday Games night

Ages 4 to 104!  Great for youth, great for families, great for adults!! Come and join us for FREE night of games. Bring a favourite board game or card game to share, and have the chance to play new and favourite games as well and join the fun!  Light snacks are provided. Mark your calendar (Games nights are happening on the 4th Friday of every month, Sep to June).  Hope to see you there!

Congregational Buffet Lunch

Plan to stay and enjoy a fabulous full-course lunch buffet prepared by our superb chef Julia. pre-book take out by Thursday.

Lunch is by donation. The actual cost is $15.

Nov 15 Auction & Dinner

 

FRIDAY NOV 15th, 2019  is the St James’ dinner, silent and  Live auction.

Tickets on sale now.

What can you bring to support the auction

The auction is the largest fundraiser for our church, and is held only once every 18 months. We have received some amazing donations of thatre tickets, Leaf’ tickets and even a flight for 2 over Niagara Falls! We are still looking for some donations to the live auction ( eg. experiences, a donation of your skill or talent). Items are still needed for gift baskets include: baby items (small toys, baby shampoo/lotion), items for our handyman’s basket ( batteries,duct tape, gift card to home depot etc); pet items(cat/dogs toys or items with cat/dog themes – such as socks), craft materials, gardening supplies and items for a games Night basket( new board or card games, small snacks that expire after Christmas, napkins, popcorn etc). Please drop off in the Harmony Room.

alz nov 212 Meanigful Activities – St. James –

Guitar Group

Thanks to the leadership of Bob Harris and Gord Burrell, we are going to continue the ” Guitar Group” this Thursday at St. James, beginning at 7:30pm (after junior choir practice) and ending at 8:15pm (for the start of adult choir practice).  Please pass this  information along to others at church who might be interested in joining.
Calling all new and not so new guitar players. This is a continuation of our “adult and child/youth lessons” that started in the spring. New people welcome! Come and have fun learning together on Thursday from 7:30 – 8:00 pm staring November 7th. We will be learning some fun Christmas carols that can be played in only 6 week’s time. Free, music will be provided.
